Throughout the course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental techniques and principles necessary to create captivating and life-like portraits. Students will learn about the placement and relative size of facial features such as the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. We will explore various techniques to accurately capture these proportions, ensuring that each portrait reflects true likeness. Students will learn how to analyze and manipulate different types of lighting, both natural and artificial, to enhance the mood and atmosphere of their portraits. By the end of this course, students will possess a solid foundation in portrait drawing techniques. Whether students aspire to become portrait artists or simply wish to improve their artistic abilities, this course will undoubtedly serve as a valuable platform for growth.
